WELCOME TO
THE ECDHM 7 WEBSITE!

We are delighted to have you here. This is where you will find all the news and practical information about the 7th edition of the ECDHM, a congress dedicated to shaping the future of donor health protection and navigating the new era for substances of human origins.

The ECDHM brings together experts and students to turn regulatory shifts, evolving societies and the strategic pivot toward plasma into real opportunities for global health. It is a true crossroads for every SoHO, and especially for blood, plasma and stem cells.

This year, we are thrilled to welcome you to Rennes, for the very first edition of the congress in France and the first one after the SoHO Regulation comes into force. Come share ideas, meet new colleagues and old friends, and enjoy a good crêpe along the way 🙂

We can’t wait to see you there. And please spread the word !

Blood and plasma donation is entering a new era.

New European regulations, changing donor populations and rapid innovation are reshaping the way we think about donor health, quality and sustainability.

ECDHM 2027 will explore these developments and create a space for professionals and experts to exchange knowledge, share experience and build the future of donation together.

Couvent Jacobains

Welcome

Couvent des Jacobins

Rennes

An iconic landmark in Rennes, the Couvent des Jacobins – a former 14th-century Dominican convent – has been transformed into a conference center !

What better place than this site steeped in history to discuss the future …

The body of Louise de Quengo, a Breton noblewoman, was discovered here during building works in 2014, in an exceptionally well-preserved state. Her autopsy helped advance the history of science and medicine.

This monument was therefore the ideal venue for us to come together and continue to promote science and medicine in our field: health and donor protection.
